FDSC Ski/Snowboard
Instructors

The most unique benefit of being a member of the FDSC is our lesson program. Lessons are available to members after paying a registration fee. This registration fee helps the club to defray some of the costs of the instructional program.

OUR INSTRUCTORS are PSIA (Professional Ski Instructor of America) certified. Most of our instructors have or are currently teaching at a mountain. Many of our instructors have been long time members of the club. All of our instructors are dedicated to introducing our club members to skiing and snowboarding safely. Our instructors maintain their certification by attending on-the-hill and classroom clinics throughout the east coast on a regular basis. Whether your goal is to ride the chair lift for the first time or develop new skills to access more parts of the mountain, our instructors devote their time every Tuesday for seven weeks to help you meet that goal.

OUR APPRENTICES are members of the club who have been recognized by our instructors as having the excellent ski/snowboarding ability along with great communication skills. Apprentices assist the instructors to assure that our students receive the most attention and demonstration to enhance their learning experience.

If you are interested in joining our team of Instructors and Apprentices, please contact the Skimeister or the Ski School Director.
