March 12th: Schuylkill River Greenways (SRG): History, Programing, Maintenance, and Events

About this event

Many of our club members use the Schuylkill River Trail for biking, hiking, or running and the Schuylkill River for kayaking or fishing. What do you know about the Schuylkill River Greenways? I, for one, know very little about it though I use the trail frequently for biking, walking or going for a “safe run”. Schuylkill River Greenways is a non-profit organization that promotes the Schuylkill River, its watershed and the Schuylkill River Trail. Join us at 7:30 on March 12th to hear Jacob Gardner, Trails Program Manager, speak on the Schuylkill River Greenways, its history, programming, maintenance, and events and how you can assist SRG in their mission to preserve the river, the trail, the watershed, and its heritage.
